Well I was awake in bed doing calculation after calculation.
Maths can be fun, okay :)
Like today in maths... I really enjoyed it !
..anyway.
My quaint little 1978 Calorie Counter tells me that
1 pound of fat is approximately 3500 calories.
ie. a shit-load.... *sigh*
So...
3500c x 10kilos x 2.2 (to make my 10kils that I want to lose into lbs) = 77000
77000 calories from fat in my body. Makes me half want to cry and half determined.
Reccomended calorie intake for my body/age to maintain is 1500.
I've been having 1200 as MAX.
Now made that 700 on majority of the days.
Will eat as little as possible.
Will have the odd day where I purposely eat 1500 calories just to vary up my intake for the sake of my metabolism (which I guess you could relate that to the ABC diet).
Basal Metabolic Rate of 65c/hour x 24hours in a day = 1560.
So even when I eat 1500, I'll be under.
I find that very comforting :)
But get a load of this !!
(This is where I really feel terribly hopeful/excited/liberated/yay!)
77000 / 89 (days til year 10 formal) = 866 (rounded up to the next whole number, just to be safe)
So I need to burn an extra 866 calories a day.
1560 (BMRx24) - 700 (approx. my daily intake) = 860
866 - 860 = 6 calories.
I only need to burn an extra 6 calories a day. Which I already do by moving lol.

Lunch - Celery - 10 (And I resisted jellybeans!)

Dinner - yet to find out what it is :)
83 up until dinner makes me happy :)
Also have umpiring to do within the hour, so that'll be at least 200 burnt!

Don't think I'll be able to have 17 calories of dinner without someone saying HUH?! so aiming to keep it at 150 max. Though 100 would've been amazing. Scrap that. 99 would've been amazing. hahaha

After dinner update: umpiring cancelled due to rain, was critised for smallsmallsmall portion, served heaps, had to eat it.
So take my 83 to, not the 150 I'd hoped, but maybe 600....
A little annoyed, but at least it proves to me that I don't need recess or 4pm food...
Dinner is just something I'll have to work on.
And that's okay.
Everything I've achieved has been because of contsant and consistant effort. Why would dinner be any different?
Going run on the treadmill for a while, methinks. Umpiring would've been 40mins of croos-training-type running/jogging... so kinda let down there.
But hey, even if my guess of 600 is about right, still in deficit... :)
