Yup, eating disorders are considered mental illnesses not lifestyle choices. That was a question on one of my health tests last year haha. Good luck on your project!
Yeah, I would definitely say that EDs are mental illnesses.

Oh of course. I'd say that many people with eating disorders have lots of mental conflict, as well as a distorted image of themselves and others.
